To figure out which pond pump you need, you first need to find out the volume of your pond. The water in yiour pond should be circulated at least once every two hours to keep it clean and moving. With that in mind, your pump should have a GPH rating that is at least half the size of your pond. For example, if you have a 200 gallon pond, you would need a 100 GPH pump to keep the environment at its best.
