Why Bottlefeeding Can Wait
When your baby begins to bottlefeed, you will find that you have more time to things for yourself, and maybe even have enough time to go back to work. However, you shouldn’t hasten bottlefeeding. Breastfeeding is a very special act for both you and your child. It brings both of you much closer together, and it only lasts for so long, you should take advantage of it while it’s there. Also, breastfeeding provides more nutrients that any formula milk on the market. Plus, these nutrients are specifically tailored to your child. Finally, waiting till your child is ready to eat solids before bottlefeeding lessens your child’s attachment to their bottle, and saves you from the difficult process of weaning them from their bottles. So let bottlfeeding wait till your child is six or eight months old. You won’t regret it.
