Some Vacation Advice
It had been an incredible vacation, two weeks of fun and relaxation. That all changed as we opened the door when we got home. I have heard that you should turn off your the water to your washing machine when you leave for vacation, well, it is true. We came home to a flooded basement. I don’t know when the hose burst, but I waded through ankle deep water to turn off the value. After some miserable moments, I became thankful for two things, first that we hadn’t totally finished the basement yet. Second that I called Water Damage Utah. They came and took care of the water, mess and the smell. So remember, when you leave on vacation…turn off the water to the washing machine.
