Arizona Immigration Laws And Reform
One piece of immigration reform news which has recently received a whole lot of attention is the new immigration law in Arizona. This law has been given a lot of criticism considering that a lot of people feel that it allows for racial profiling. The law has since been changed so that cops can only stop individuals and verify their immigration status when they have already broken a law.
The new immigration laws in Arizona have the possibility to change things across the United States. The US is closely watching what happens there to know how these laws can be applied in additional states in close proximity to our border. The Federation for American Immigration Reform is in favor of these modifications, and explains that it’s a great step towards reducing illegal immigration and represents a positive change in allowing states to make their own immigration laws
