Perseverance is Key to Success
Completing a degree in fashion design has always been a dream of mine. It has not always been an easy road, but I have walked through it with the goal always in my mind. When I went through the days of grueling internships, and when I struggled to learn the proper techniques for fashion design sketches, I sometimes doubted if this was what I really wanted. However, I would not let myself quit, and I’ve found that perseverance is perhaps the most important characteristic in a successful designer. You deal with a lot of ups and downs in this business, and you’ve got to keep an even keel and take it all in stride.
